The award-winning Northeast Performing Arts Group will present "THE WIZ" Dansical for two performances on Friday, March 31, 2023, at THEARC Theater located at 1901 Mississippi Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20020.
"The Wiz”, tells the story of Dorothy's journey through the land of OZ, a magical world where she meets people who need the same things youth need in the world today to survive, a heart, brain, and courage. Throughout her journey, the characters in Oz lead her to believe that all she needs to get “Home” is to “Ease on Down the Road” and “Meet the Wiz”. Dorothy realizes that everything she was searching for was always “HOME”. This dansical is told through the eyes of children through dance, voice, and spoken word.
Come be educated, entertained, and inspired by performers ranging from ages 3 through 25 years of age. Featuring guest performances from Dance Social DC.

*11:30 a.m. ( matinee performance for seniors, schools) -- (SOLD-OUT)
*7:30 p.m. evening performance--$20 in advance/$25 at the door.
